Story: We grew up in the Bay Area after our moms immigrated from Guatemala. As we grew up, we started asking more about where they were born – learning that they grew up on their father’s coffee farm. While that farm is no longer in our family, we wanted to find a way to highlight Guatemalan coffee. We connected with our cousin who dedicates his time to his coffee farm in Guatemala. We visited and learned about how the coffee is grown.

“Ámala” in Spanish means “love her.” That is special to us because it’s a reminder to love our roots and share that love with others through coffee one cup at a time.
